BOB'S EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES and PHILOSOPHY:

Providing the highest quality education for every student

AND
Making the most effective use of taxpayer funds

BOB'S PRIORITIES AS TRUSTEE:

1. Providing every student with an education of superior quality

2. Assuring that the District provides high-quality academic and career/vocational programs for the full range and diversity of our students

3. Exercising fiscal responsibility in the management of financial resources and taxpayer funds

4. Establishing full public accountability for School and District performance and operations

5. Creating a disciplined, safe, and drug free school environment that is conducive to learning

6. Assuring significant parent, staff, and community involvement in the District and its decision-making process

7. Conducting all personal and District operations with integrity, fairness, and openness

MAJOR NEAR-TERM OBJECTIVES FOR THE DISTRICT:

Bob's Goals for the Coming Years

  • Maintain our excellent reputation for providing highly competitive educational and extra-curricular programs that fully meet the academic and career/vocational needs of our diverse student population

  • Carefully manage finances to assure sustainability of our high quality programs for future students despite funding reductions from the new state funding formula

  • Continue to focus resources and efforts on achieving instructional excellence and maximizing student learning in all classrooms

  • Upgrade facilities and technology cost-effectively to best prepare our students for the twenty-first century economy and workplace

  • Support students with special needs to help them reach their full potential

  • Further strengthen communications, partnership, and openness with parents, staff, students, and community
