Candidate for
Board Member; Serrano Water District; Division 1

Thank you for wanting to know more about me. I am hopeful you will consider electing me to the Board of Directors of the Serrano Water District. As a Director, my primary goal is to ensure a reliable supply of quality water to your home at the lowest rates possible. The Golden State is in the midst of a 3 ½ year drought--and scientists believe that this year may end up being the driest in the last half millennium. I am an experienced leader on water issues. For the last four years, and currently, I am serving on the Board of Directors at the Orange County Sanitation District in a leadership role. OCSD operates one of the largest water treatment facilities in the United States, working to recycle wastewater through the Ground Water Replenishment System (GWRS) to provide millions of gallons of safe and pristine drinking water every day to our County. I am a business owner and President of our 49 year old family electronics manufacturing company in Orange. I oversee the handling of our facility's waste water, making sure to remove all potential toxins before the water can be recycled or discharged. I am a proven leader having served two full terms on the Villa Park City Council, including three terms as Mayor. In addition, I served as a Volunteer Fire Captain with the Orange County Fire Authority for over 28 years, providing me with vast experience on water hydraulics and principals. I was born and raised here in Orange County. My wife Lisa and I have been married for 34 years. We have lived in Villa Park for 16 years and in Orange for 15 years as homeowners. We have three wonderful daughters all of whom graduated from Villa Park High.
