My Path

A Lutheran church in Michigan sponsored our family the winter of 75'. Happens to be one of the coldest winter on record in Michigan that year. "Lucky us". The first several years were the most difficult. A Complete Culture Shock!! We did not know the language, the custom, the people... We did not know many things. And we did not know about `unemployment', did not know `welfare', did not know `medicare', `medicaid'. The only thing we knew was `Hard work' and keeping faith with the Holy Scripture. Our family are devoted Christians and attend the local Lutheran Church while in Michigan. We survived, eventually... In time... We all survive.

We relocated to Southern California and lived in Westminster 1985. I continued my education and finished high-school at Bolsa Grande. I put myself through school, working at the Orange County Tax Collector, collecting prior year delinquent taxes. I graduated in 1992 at CSU Fullerton with a Bachelor Degree in Business Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate. Got my first `real' job at First American Title Insurance Company, corporate headquarters in Santa Ana.

I work hard, and this is all I know. Working hard allowed me to learn the Title and Escrow business, and became one of the first Vietnamese American Escrow Officer at the time. In time, I became a Escrow Branch Manager at Fidelity National Title in Tustin. After that County Manager, eventually VP of Operations for First American Title for the State of California. This have been the defining moment of my career. I ran an operation of over 100 employees strong, spanning the State of California with a Profit and Loss of twenty (20) Million dollars annually. My next challenge was when I took a leap of faith opening my own escrow company in 2003. Integrity Escrow was established, here, I ran a successful business, raised a family and found our home in Fountain Valley. Integrity Escrow has served the Great City of Fountain Valley for over 10 years.
