Infrastructure Replacement and Renewal

Mesa has developed a long-term Capitol Program for the pipe, well and infrastructure replacement or renewal. We are prepared!
  • Mesa Water has 7 equally important goals to achieve our mission. o 1.Provide a safe, abundant, and reliable water supply. o 2.Practice perpetual infrastructure renewal and improvement. o 3.Be financially responsible and transparent. o 4.Increase public awareness about Mesa Water and about water. o 5.Attract and retain skilled employees. o 6.Provide outstanding customer service. o 7.Actively participate in regional water issues.

Mesa Water is financially strong as one of the few Calif. water agencies with a AAA bond rating--factors of this rating include having appropriate rates, reserves, and perpetual infrastructure renewal.
  • Mesa Water's rates and reserves are set at the proper level to achieve the District's strategic plan goals of: providing a safe, abundant and reliable water supply; practicing perpetual infrastructure renewal and improvement; and, being financially responsible and transparent.
  • Going forward, Mesa Water is doing a study of its infrastructure in order to plan for and conduct the added necessary infrastructure repair and replacement which will cost millions over the next decade and beyond. We will share info about this study when complete.
