We are blessed to live within the Mt. Tam watershed which produces near-pristine water. We need to keep it that way. The district has spent 9 years and hundreds of thousands of ratepayer dollars studying whether or not to use thousands of gallons of Round Up style pesticides in the watershed to control broom. We can and must do better than that! It is time to declare the Mt. Tam a pesticide-free zone. |
