Member, City Council; City of Seaside

I have been married to Marie DeFranco Guth for 28 years and we have three successful adult children and two grandchildren. I am seeking election to the Seaside City Council because I believe that the leadership skills I've acquired as a Seaside Police Sergeant for nearly 30 years, and as an NCO in the US Army active duty and reserves, as well as a decorated Vietnam Veteran, has given me the valuable experience and discipline needed to be a Council Member. My commitment to you is to focus on our understaffed, broken Police Department, promote responsible economic development while protecting our environment, and recruiting businesses to our city which creates jobs, and increase revenue for the city budget. It is my top priority to see that your tax dollars are spent wisely. New leadership is needed to develop responsible plans to make the City of Seaside financially secure, while prioritizing vital services like public safety. I pledge to tackle our challenges head-on and help Seaside to become a thriving dynamic city it was always mean't to be. I would be honored to serve you and I'd appreciate your vote on November 4th.
