Fiscal conservatism, responsibility only to the general public, and better public preparation for disasters are my goals.As a SRVFPD Board Director, I will assure the sustainability of the current high level of service, exemplary response times and extraordinary survival rates, for which the District is renowned. I will adhere to fiscally responsible long-range plans, including the 12-year Capital Improvement Plan, the 10-year Cash Flow Model, and other policies which have enabled balanced budgets for 2013-2014 and 2014-2015, without increases in parcel taxes. I will seek more efficient ways of operation, wherever possible. As your Director, I will never lose sight of my fiduciary duty to the citizens as a whole, and I will not favor any single special interest. As a member, of the Boards of Directors, of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, the San Ramon Valley YMCA, The SRV Kiwanis Club, the Diablo Business Network, and other Boards, I have the experience which is required for this position. As a Doctor of Jurisprudence, I am able to analyze the kinds of documents which will be required in this position. My experience, in the conduct of Arbitrations and Contested-case Administrative Hearings will enable me work effectively on this Board. |
