Board Member; Mount Diablo Unified School District

I want to make MDUSD a destination district for students, families, and teachers. For example, my children go to one of two Diablo Basics Schools, with Sequoia Elementary the other one. These two schools have a successful track record. There is also a long waiting list to attend. I think this model should be replicated and the waiting list alleviated.

We need to talk to business and city leaders to find out what skills are required to be successful and then develop curriculum so that our high school graduates have the right skills to compete at the university level or in the workforce.

We have many success stories in MDUSD. Let's learn and model them to make more success stories.
