Public Safety

We deserve a safe community. I will work to ensure that our community's public safety is the city's top priority. I plan to work with our police and fire departments to ensure we continue to implement responsive, efficient, and crime prevention services. Support and expand Newark's RAVEN community policing program.

Neighborhood Revitalization

When investing in infrastructure and implementing city services I believe it is essential to engage residents in order to determine Newark's priorities for revitalization. I will work with community leaders to create a Community Advisory Council that will guide the city in prioritizing services and economic development projects.

Promote Economic Development

Newark is perfectly situated to house all types of businesses, from tech start ups to prominent companies. As such, I will work hard to ensure the city works to attract both small and large businesses. I will advocate for having a position dedicated to (1) attracting new businesses and (2) supporting small business growth.
