Thank you for reading more about my candidacy! My name is Corina Lopez, and I'm a San Leandro School Board Trustee with a strong background in finance and technology. On the San Leandro City Council, I'll provide a strong voice, pushing to make public safety a top priority, promote economic opportunity and job creation, and invest in roads, parks and libraries. I am committed to expanding technology and the fiber optic loop to help move San Leandro further into the digital age and to making San Leandro a better place to live and work. I know from experience that knowledge is the key to success, and that technology can empower everyone to achieve knowledge. I am excited about everything that San Leandro has accomplished over the last few years, and I believe that with continued leadership, San Leandro can become a leading hub in the Bay Area's thriving regional economy. Please join San Leandro's teachers, firefighters, and business leaders in supporting me this November 4th. I would be honored to have your vote! Occupation:
Education: I am the daughter of migrant farm workers who followed the lettuce harvests between the Salinas Valley, Bakersfield, and Yuma. I credit my teachers in the public school system with helping me see my potential through education. I graduated from public schools and became the first in my family to attend college. I attended Princeton University and received a Certificate in Finance with distinction from UC Berkeley. I am also a Spanish speaker. Public Service:
