I have sought endorsements from retired or former employees who know my work, service, and commitment, as well as from residents of Castro Valley. It is unprofessional, I believe, to ask current employees, although some have offered. There are also endorsements from some board members from neighboring districts with whom I served on the Alameda County School Boards Association and on the Regional Occupational Program Governing Council during the 15 years that I represented Castro Valley Unified. My list includes all of the retired superintendents I was involved in hiring and evaluating as well as all current and past board members who I asked for endorsements.
