Position Papers
Non Violent Drug Offenders
It is time to rethink our practice of sending non-violent drug offenders to prison. Our country will be better for it; we will save billions of dollars a year and we will be taking the moral high ground in treatingthose who need it, rather than incarcerating them.
Reform the Tax Code
Taxes are an inevitable cost of living in a society. The implementation of taxes needs to be fair and just, allowing for upward mobility and economic growth.
War and Peace
I subscribe to President Theodore Roosevelt's foreign policy: Speak softly and carry a big stick. We should be strong, but we should use that force, only when absolutely necessary. We should no longer use that force to act as the world's police force.
