Robert J. Banuelos Biography + Native and life-long resident of Orange County + Experience working with Congress + Service and Action Oriented Robert Banuelos is a native of Orange County, California who is proud to serve its residents as a Congressional Aide in the 46th Congressional District. Robert was raised on his family's farm in the area now known as Fountain Valley. Even then, Robert and the Banuelos family were community-minded and regularly donated vegetables and livestock to the local food bank to help wipe out hunger in Orange County. Robert's father was a farmer, entrepreneur and WWII veteran. His mother worked on the Space Shuttle program with NASA and was a UAW member. Robert worked for Pacific Telephone (AT&T) for over 25 years where he was a union member and union steward (CWA Local 9510). Robert also worked at the Parks and Recreation Department in Orange County and was Assistant director at the Southwest Senior Citizen Center for several years. Robert has been serving for over seven years as Congressional Community Liaison for the Office of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, 46th District, where he specializes in serving Senior Citizens and US Veterans and their families. Robert does extensive volunteer work throughout the Orange County community. He is a Board Member of Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Orange County, Food Bank of Orange County, retired CWA Local 9519 member, member of LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) Council #147, and member of the Pala Tribe. As a proud life-long citizen of Orange County, Robert knows the people, the businesses, the community and the land of the area. He seeks to serve the community he loves as your Congressional Representative. You will not find a more experienced, dedicated and caring person to represent the 48th Congressional District and fight for your best interests in Washington. |
