I view the opportunity to become a judge as the opportunity to make the most overall impact in the community. Having been on the front-lines of both civil and criminal litigation, I have witnessed the difference that a good judge can make in ensuring due process and justice.

I have had the privilege of serving real people in their most turbulent times - in cases that had serious consequences to their lives and the lives of their family members. I believe that people view judges as the face of our justice system and that the way they are treated in court shapes how they feel about the legal system in general.

It would be my honor to serve San Francisco, my hometown, as a judge and I would work tirelessly to ensure the equitable administration of justice in my courtroom. I am proud of what I have accomplished in my private practice and promise that I would use the same skills, creativity, and good judgment to increase the accessibility and efficiency of the San Francisco Superior Court.
