Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Jose; Council District 1

I am excited to work on the challenges the city of San Jose is facing because problem solving is one of my specialties. Over the years, neighbors have called on me to fix struggling programs or develop new programs where none existed. I am not a politician, but a local leader who is able to bring people together for the benefit of our community and I will do the same for the city of San Jose.

As a small business owner, I was consistently in the top one percent in the nation year after year and have received many awards for my volunteer activities in local organizations including the American Youth Soccer Organization, which organizes soccer games for thousands of local youths including mentally and physically challenge kids. Just like in business and my volunteer organizations, I will strive to make our city number one.

Here are some of the key issues I will work on as your District One Council Member:

Restore public safety to reduce crime and keep San Jose one of the safest cities

Re-prioritize transportation to repair our neighborhood roads

Protect the city's tax base in order to increase our solvency

Maximize access to city community centers and libraries for the public
