I am honored to serve as your District Attorney.

Since taking office four years ago, I have worked hard to promote reform, pursue justice and enhance public safety.

Under my leadership, our outstanding prosecutors and investigators have: convicted the President of the County Board of Supervisors for stealing public money and removed him from office; prosecuted a criminal network that stole $36 million of computer chips from a local manufacturer; convicted an elementary school teacher of molesting his students, as well as the principal who failed to call the police; gone after drug traffickers and seized hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin; indicted 48 gangsters in the largest gang indictment in Santa Clara County history; cracked down on financial fraud and identity theft; established a Cold Case Unit that solved five murders committed decades earlier; and created a nationally-acclaimed Conviction Integrity Unit to ensure the highest ethical standards.
