This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Senior Business Analyst
Age: 57
Education and Qualifications:
Vote for Bob Levy and vote for proven local leadership.

I have volunteered and served on 15 government and non-profit committees, commissions and boards, with one goal in mind: improving the quality of life in San Jose.

As chair of the San Jose Planning Commission and chair of both the City and County Parks Commissions, I spearheaded efforts to build parks, protect creeks, and promote local businesses.

I'm proud to have earned the endorsements of Mayor Susan Hammer and former District 1 council members Linda LeZotte and Trixie Johnson.

As a 25 year resident of District 1 and co-founder of the Easterbrook Neighborhood Association, I understand the needs of our District: improving public safety, maintaining parks, and expanding library services.

As an IT Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst, with 25 years of business experience, I understand the business that drives our local economy.

I will work diligently on your behalf to provide services such as police, fire, parks, and libraries. I will use my business experience to bring jobs to San Jose and to balance the budget.

My community service, business experience, and Masters in Urban Planning will ensure my effectiveness as your councilmember.

Let's work together to move San Jose forward; http://www.boblevy.net.
