Education and Qualifications:
My family has called San Jose home for many generations. We have always been committed to keeping our city a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I grew up here, went to school here and with my wife we are raising our kids here.

Recently, our community has faced many hardships: increases in crime, lost jobs and underfunded schools.

We need a leader that can bridge the gap and bring working families, City Government and local businesses together to build a better San Jose. I am ready to become the City Councilmember we need.

I created the North Side Youth Sports League -- which gives kids the opportunity to be active and learn strong community values. Without stronger schools and programs like these, kids fall through the cracks and turn to drugs, crime and gangs.

As your City Councilmember, I will take a stand and deliver for our neighborhoods by:
1. Putting safety first to make our neighborhoods safer
2. Ensuring our schools have the resources they need for a solid education
3. Revitalizing business to improve our local economy
4. Supporting crucial city services like libraries and parks
