This information is provided by the candidate

My political philosophy is best expressed in my goals for Riverside County's students and schools:

Every student in the county must complete high school. This is the bare minimum outcome for our public school system. This means they earn a diploma, a GED or a certificate of completion for students with special needs.

Every student in the county will be employable upon completion of high school. The 21st century workforce requires a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities. This takes a combination of education, training and career experiences. Our primary means of providing career preparation is through fundamental academic instruction in elementary grades and Career Technical Training classes, along with higher level academic classes in secondary grades.

Every student in the county will be prepared to successfully complete education beyond high school. This includes community colleges and universities, technical schools, military and other high quality academic and skills-based programs.

Every student in the county will receive their education in safe, well maintained and modern school facilities.
