Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility

By Mark Anthony Orozco

Candidate for County Supervisor; Riverside County; Supervisorial District 5

This information is provided by the candidate
My Pledge for Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility
District 5 is in need of transparent leadership to address the new coming generations needs. Young adolescents are the face of the new generation populating this society. Riverside County has not initiated any changes over this last decade to assist younger people with their futures.

This election has opened up discussions about the position's current leadership, the direction of the cities, and whether or not they are being represented properly by the incumbent, who has been in office for 12 years. District 5 especially is in demand of a fresh leader who understands safety and financial issues and is willing to move towards a positive direction.

I am not bound to special interests. I am an independent thinker and will be responsible only to the constituents of this district.

My pledge and priorities:

  • I will bring our fair share of tax dollars back to our district to invest into schools, businesses, roads and the needs of our communities.

  • I will be the independent voice we need in Riverside County that will help stimulate job creation and small business development by eliminating duplicate and unnecessary regulations.

  • I will support investment in local law enforcement and public safety, so we can maintain security within our schools and neighborhoods.

  • I will demand a higher level of accountability, transparency, fiscal responsibility and elimination of wasteful government spending.
