With his leadership, Placer County is nearing completion of the Placer County Conservation Plan, which will ensure thousands of acres of farmlands and open space remain for future generations.

Robert worked closely with Lincoln officials and the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency to construct the Highway 65 Lincoln Bypass, which has eased traffic congestion in downtown Lincoln and provided better access to new neighborhoods in the community.

Robert received the Governor's Environmental & Economic Leadership Award for the Placer Legacy Program. He was a founding board member of the Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource Center, Wildlife Heritage Foundation and the Sportsmen's Legacy Foundation.

Robert has two children, Eric and Stephanie, who both live and work in the area. He is the proud grandfather of granddaughters Haley, Sydney, Madison and grandsons Braden, Tanner and Josh.
