Political Reform and the Inflence of $ in PoliticsBy Pamela Conley UlichCandidate for Supervisor; County of Los Angeles; Supervisorial District 3 | |

Game ChangerAccording to my 12 year old son Konrad, "If you want the world to change you have to do something to help change it, and not hope that someone else will change it for you." I don't like the direction political campaigns and our Government is going. Because of the Supreme Court's Citizen's United decision, corporations are now considered people and money is considered to be speech. I fear that when my children are old enough to vote in 4 and 6 years, the "trend to spend" will be out of control and the only people who are able to have a voice are those with money. I am running to change the system. I am passionate about making our community and our planet better for future generations. Our campaign is powered by the people of the 33rd District, from our 13-year old honorary campaign manager to our 97 year old supporter. Team Love LA does not represent corporate special interests or political money making machines. I am running to be a voice of those who want political campaigns to take a different path. |
