PARENT ·Dr. Eason is a wife and proud parent of 5 children. ·Three of her children are school aged and attend Carl Munck Elementary School in Oakland Unified. ·Dr. Eason is an Oakland Unified PTA member and has a vested interest in the success of Alameda County public schools. EDUCATOR ·Dr. Eason was an Oakland Unified School District teacher. ·While earning her Doctorate, she trained California State University students to become teachers. · Naomi has experience as a parent educator though her work with The Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE). ·Currently, Dr. Eason is the California Executive Director at Building Educated Leaders for Life (BELL). ADMINISTRATOR ·Dr. Eason served as a Principal and District Office Administrator in the Emery Unified School District. ·She worked at the Alameda County Office of Education as the Coordinator of New Teacher Projects. ·Served as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services at the Alameda County Office of Education for eight years |
