Property Tax ReformBy Tom CasciolaCandidate for State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 46; Democratic Party | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
There has to be a reasonable solution to address property tax reform.Forty-nine other states have schools, and have to fund them. I am committed to studying how every state funds their schools, and without re-inventing the wheel, find a solution, or combination of solutions, to better and more fairly provide the education demanded by our society. Legislators have talked about property tax reform for many, many years. I don't know what has been proposed, or what ideas have been rejected, but if there is a better way than property tax to pay for our schools, I intend to find it. |
