Shall a 0.25 mill special tax be imposed by the Borough of Springdale on all taxable real estate in the Borough of Springdale effective January 1, 2015 and thereafter, the proceeds of which shall be allocated and used only for the maintenance and operation of the Springdale Public Library.

Impartial Analysis
If this question is approved by a majority of those voting, a separate tax of 0.25 mill will be levied on all real estate in the Borough of Springdale. All money raised as a result of this tax can only be used to aid in the maintenance and operation of the Springdale Public Library and cannot be used for any other purpose. This tax would go into effect January 1, 2015.
