Fiscal responsibility and High Quality Schools Can (and do!) go together

Our board works to maintain an outstanding education for our students without overburdening our taxpayers. We are always looking for areas of the budget to reduce so that we can maintain our successful programs and introduce new, innovative programs for our students. It is important that they be prepared, in technology, academics, and life skills as they move into higher education, the workplace, the military, or any other avenue of their futures!

I feel that we have been successful, since we have the third lowest tax rate amongst Delaware County School Districts (http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/treasurer/TaxRate2013) and we are ranked 13th out of 553 school districts.(http://www.schooldigger.com/go/PA/districtrank.apsx)
