In order to remain competitive, Radnor needs a long-term strategic plan to guide decision-makingOur constituency, you, should feel that tax dollars are being used to provide efficient operations, effective communications, and an equitable education to students at all levels. While Radnor schools have long been a positive contributor to the township, they must improve in these areas to stay competitive. The most important element in this quest for improvement is the development of a comprehensive strategic plan. The strategic plan must include a communication plan, a vision for our facilities, a financial game plan, and a mechanism for holding our administration accountable. The strategic plan should be the roadmap that creates a world-class educational environment, facilitates good decision-making, and be derived from real public participation. The Republican slate of candidates--Susan Michaelson, Dave Falcone, Martin Heldring and me, Valentine Link--will focus on strengthening the operational core of our School District through the development of a sound strategic plan. |
