Richard F. Booker has lived in Radnor for the past 14 years, and has been active in local political issues, serving in various roles. Mr. Booker was elected to the Radnor School Board (2003-2007), where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee among other assignments. He was instrumental in saving the School District several million dollars through directing the refinance of several outstanding bond issues.

Rich Booker currently serves as Director of Tax Controversy and State Tax Planning of a major corporation. He is responsible for managing tax litigation and directing efforts to mitigate state tax impacts on the company's subsidiaries and affiliates. Mr. Booker is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and received his J.D. and LL.M. (Taxation) from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.

Prior to joining Sunoco, Mr. Booker was a lawyer at the law firm of Ballard Spahr, LLP in Philadelphia, where he focused his practice on tax exempt bonds and municipal finance. Mr. Booker has served as president of the Philadelphia Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc., and for the last five years, as Chairman of its State and Local Tax Committee. In addition, Mr. Booker serves on the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee.

Rich is married to his wife Patricia of 23 years. Rich and Pattie reside in Radnor with their three children, all of whom have attended Radnor Schools. Their two boys now attend U. of Alabama and Temple University respectively, and their daughter attends Radnor Middle School.
