Candidate for
School Director At Large; West Chester School District

• I moved to West Chester 10 years ago because of the reputation of the school district, and my 3 sons attend WCASD schools; I consider safeguarding their education one of my most important responsibilities as a parent;
• I have 17 years of business experience focused on corporate finance; I understand financials and the need for sensible budgeting that appropriately accounts for risk factors and considers long term objectives;
• I am involved in the community through my children's various pursuits including LAFA Football, West Chester Youth Wrestling, East Side Little League, and Cub Scouts Pack 66 for which I am the Activities Coordinator;
• I am a founding member of West Chester VOTE, a grassroots community coalition committed to preserving excellence in WCASD and advocating for public education; I have been an active and regular participant at board meetings for the past 2 years and feel that residents should stay informed and become engaged in the activities of their school district;
• I believe that while there are areas of public education which require reform, that public education is a critical component of our society and an integral part of any community.
