1. How would you promote good nutrition in your schools?
|
Answer from Scott C. Dorsey:
I support the current Tredyffrin-Easttown School District's nutritional policies. Tredyffrin-Easttown School District is meeting the nutritional needs of our students by following the "Healthy Kids Act". The district does not permit sodas or candy in vending machines and they offer organic food products. The district works hard to educate our students in healthy eating and physical exercise.
Answer from Richard Brake:
By increasing the offering of fruits and vegetables in the cafeteria and reducing the amount of fatty fried foods and sugary drinks, much like we do in the Brake household.
