Smart Voter Political Philosophy for James "Jim" Wudarczyk

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Pittsburgh; Council District 7

This information is provided by the candidate

A fiscal conservative, James Wudarczyk decided to run for public office because he feels strongly that over the years, the City has consistently raised taxes and reduced services. Now it is time to reverse that trend by reviewing how we spend taxpayers' money in order to give the people a dollar's worth of service for their dollar in tax revenues. The people don't care about lofty ideas and new projects. They worry about their sadly neglected streets, the disgraceful condition of many of their parks, and a decaying infastructure, as well as a lack of maintenance. Our people are also concerned about their own safety and the financial burdens placed on them.

James Wudarczyk has pledged to remain an Independent. He will work with the administration and other members of council on legislation if it is for the common good. If, however, he believes that such programs will benefit consultants and special interest groups, Wudarczyk will not hesitate to rally against these programs.
