During my current council term I joined all council members in adopting the "Business Ready Strategy" in an effort to provide businesses in Evendale quicker responses in all Evendale regulations. I served on the working group that modernize the Evendale Zoning Code to make it reflect the new master plan and to make it consistent with current development trends. The council unanimously adopted the new zoning code. As a member of the Evendale C.I.C. and Council I supported the expansion of Kinetic Vision; So-Low Environmental Equip; Gold Medal; White Castle; Mike Albert; and Chase Bank. The Council earlier this year authorized the Evendale C.I.C. to market the land banked property on Reading Road and on St. Rita Lane and Glendale-Milford Road. The Evendale C.I.C. has entered an agreement with the St. Frances Group (a firm including Commercial Relators, Developers, and having a contract with the Port Authority) to begin the process to market the properties. The process does not simply consider price, but also potential tax revenues, and uses that can enhance the Evendale quality of life.
