My husband, Rod, and I have been married for 23 years. We have three boys; Adam (19), Jack (16) and Luke (10). My husband and I are active members of the community through frequent volunteering of our time for the City of Wyoming as well as the Wyoming City Schools.

Presently, I am a full time homemaker. Prior to staying home with my children, I held various positions with MCI Telecommunications, including Business Manager to the Vice President of Sales. This position allowed me to gain a broad understanding of complex management and financial issues. In addition to this valuable experience, I was formally trained in federal and state tax codes and tax preparation.

I was originally appointed to Wyoming City Council in April, 2006. I was then elected to a full term in 2007, 2009 and 2011. It has been an honor to serve this community as a member of the following Commissions: Economic Development Commission; Recreation Commission; Historic Preservation Commission; Urban Forestry & Beautification Commission and the Board of Building and Zoning. Presently, I serve as Vice Mayor and Chair for the Finance Committee. Furthermore, I serve as a member of the Streets & Roads Committee, Law Committee and Community Improvement Corporation. In 2011, I was appointed to the Hamilton County Tax Incentive Review Council.
