What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit) Answer from Dwane K. Mallory: I have been a Hamilton County Municipal Court judge since 2008. I have served as a trial attorney for the Law Office of the Hamilton County Public Defenders Office, a civil attorney for the City of Cincinnati, and a prosecutor for the City of Cincinnati. 2. What programs do you support to maintain the independence of the judiciary? (100 word limit) Answer from Dwane K. Mallory: I interpret the separation of powers clause of the United States Constitution as the best way to maintain the judiciary's independence. 3. What specific changes would you like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County? (100 word limit) Answer from Dwane K. Mallory: The change I would like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County is the timely administration of justice. Hamilton County is convenient to all except those who work in the court system. Generally court begins at 9:00 A.M. I would like to see shorter wait times for parties that appear for court.
