Who I Am!

Whether I'm parenting, coaching or teaching, I'm an advocate for student success.

My qualifications include a Master's Degree in Administrative Education, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Counseling Credential combined with nearly 20 years in the educational system. For the past 10 years I've coached a variety of local youth sports, and am an active and dedicated parent. I firmly believe that there is not a "one-size fits all" educational pathway and innovative approaches to education benefit all students.

Open communication with all stakeholders is essential to rebuild trust. I am committed to keeping parents, school staff, students and community members well informed with factual information. I will actively seek to build positive relationships focused on fairness and consistency and clearly stated expectations with all stakeholders. I hold high personal standards for myself and as an educator I am confident in my ability to teach, motivate and guide others to attain their goals.

Fiscal responsibility and transparency are required for our District to recover and for our students to succeed. Denair Unified School District is well positioned to begin the uphill climb to restore its budget in a responsible manner. My experience and training as a school administrator will enhance this recovery process.
