Board Member; Hillsborough City School District

I am dedicated to enriching the academic learning and social development of our Hillsborough City School District (HCSD) students. I have lived here in Hillsborough with my devoted physician-husband since 2002. Together, we are raising three bright and well-rounded children, two of whom have successfully graduated from the K-8 HCSD system, and one who is a Crocker 7th grader. I avidly volunteer in my 3 children's classrooms from Preschool through Middle School to impart my love of learning to the students, and to reinforce support to our caring teachers and educators. As a physician, I understand the rigors of academics to achieve one's goals and passions. As a parent, I strongly advocate for a fine balance between academics and healthy habits for our students. I have years of experience as a parent and seasoned physician-leader to enhance our schools in academic excellence, financial stewardship, and vital wellness for our students, teachers and the Hillsborough community. Together, with your votes on November 5, 2013, we can achieve these essential goals for our kids! Please elect me.
