Candidate for |
||||
|
Reuben Holober grew up in Millbrae and attended local public schools, including Mills High School. He served on the Millbrae Sister City Commission and interned for Representative Tom Lantos. He participated in the Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating from the University of Washington, Reuben returned to Millbrae. He currently works for Natera, a growing biotech company in San Carlos. Reuben's biggest priority for Millbrae is to strengthen vital public safety. Reuben would like to build a stable revenue stream to improve city services and prevent future cuts. He views the area near the BART/Caltrain intermodal station as key to Millbrae's future. With its convenient access to public transit, he believes that area would be ideal for business development in Millbrae. Reuben also supports rebuilding roads, sewers, and failing infrastructure. Reuben's late mother Nadia Holober served on the Millbrae City Council for 11 years. His father Richard Holober has served on the San Mateo County Community College Board for 16 years, and previously served on the Millbrae School Board for 4 years. |
