My political philosophy is about placing our focus and our resources back into our community in a meaningful way. I believe that every Sunnyvale resident has a valid opinion and each concern or idea should be acknowledged. It is essential to upholding the American tradition of Democracy but also integral to the values this country was founded on which was giving every person the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Sunnyvale should do everything it can to give its residents the tools to help themselves and to help ensure our fellow community members don't go hungry, lack a top level education, have adequate housing, and that they are paid a livable wage.
Human dignity should never be placed beneath profits because Sunnyvale would be nothing without its diverse residents the make it what it is.
