Occupation: Engineer/Sunnyvale Councilmember
Age: 47
Education and Qualifications:
Four years ago, you elected me to help lead Sunnyvale through the Great Recession to better times. At the close of my first term in office, I'm pleased to report that we are well on our way. We negotiated reduced employee costs and benefits. We balanced our budget while avoiding layoffs and labor disputes. We planned for two new parks, repaired roads and bridges, restored tree maintenance, filled our empty offices, and created jobs.

Sunnyvale is the envy of local cities. But our work is not done. We must finally complete our downtown. We must replace our aging water treatment plant. We must select a new City Manager. And most important, we must keep our streets, our neighborhoods, and our homes safe for our families. We need and deserve smart, capable, and proven leaders to confront these challenges with collaborative solutions.

I am proud of what we have accomplished by working together over the past four years. With your support, I will keep working hard to make our city the best it can be.

I ask for your vote to keep Sunnyvale moving forward.
