I moved to Marin in 1976 as a single father with a 9 year old daughter. I wanted a place that was clean, safe and had great schools. That was and is Marin. I love my community.I moved to Marin in 1976 as a single father with a 9 year old daughter. I wanted a place that was clean, safe and had great schools. That was and is Marin. I love my community. Since then my wife and I raised a son who went to Brookside, White Hill and Drake. My wife has been a French teacher at Redwood High School for over 10 years. School has been part of my life forever. I have been very active in our schools. I served 4 years as a trustee for the Ross Valley School District (San Anselmo/Fairfax). I served 2 years on the Brookside site council. I was a classroom volunteer. In my professional life I have been a president of a software company and the vice president of finance and admin for a hardware company. I have managed large budgets. As a software engineer, I am intimately familiar with technology. I want to be a trustee for our high school district for one reason only; to keep our schools the gems that they are and to make sure that each and every one of our kids gets what they need for a bright future. |
