Candidate for
Board Member; Tamalpais Union High School District

I grew up in Minneapolis, MN where I attended excellent public schools with my three siblings. After earning a BA in Economics from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, I worked for 7 years in the financial services industry.

While my husband, a UCSF Professor and Diabetes Scientist, pursued his career, I began my most important role, that of mother to three wonderful children. My son graduated from Redwood last year and my two daughters are there now. All three are my pride and joy.

In addition to the roles listed on the front page, I have served as Girl Scout Troop Leader, CYO Girls Basketball Coach, and Middle School Musical Producer. I have been actively involved all over the community since moving to Larkpsur 10 years ago.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my 10 year old flat-coated retriever on Mt. Tam, Stand Up Paddle Yoga classes on Richardson Bay, reading non-fiction, and tending my plot at the Larkspur Community Garden.
