Candidate for
Board Member; Millview Water District

I am currently Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Millview County Water District. I was appointed to this board in 2000 and have been re-elected twice. Our district has been under a moratorium on new water hook ups for the past decade, largely due to having insufficient water rights to add new customers. This has resulted in approximately 300 property owners within our district who are unable to develop their properties due to a lack of water. For the past decade Millview has been trying to purchase two water rights (Masonite & Wateufel) which would help lift the moratorium. Currently these two rights are being adjudicated in the courts and before the State Water Resources Board. I would ask the voters to retain me in office to continue this fight to its conclusion.
