Governing Board Member; Culver City Unified School District

Sue Robins is the founder and President of Ascend Training Solutions, LLC; a company dedicated to the design, development and delivery of engaging and effective employee training and leadership development programs. Sue is also an Instructor for the University of California, Irvine in the Extension and Corporate divisions, teaching both online and "on-ground."

Prior to opening Ascend Training Solutions, Sue taught 6th and 8th grade science at Culver City Middle School for a total of 6 years.

Much of Sue's prior professional experience is in Sales and Marketing in the Biotechnology fields.

Sue's volunteer experience includes two years as PTA Co-President at Farragut Elementary School, Education Committee Chair for the Culver City Chamber Executive Board, and Director of Programs on the EmpowHer Institute Board of Directors.

As Education Committee chair, Sue developed the AVID program speaker's bureau, bringing the Culver City business community into the Middle School to help students learn about a wide variety of career options. Additionally, as Education Committee chair, Sue recruited numerous volunteers from the business community to participate in the 8th Grade exit interviews.

Sue has two children, one a graduate of Culver City High School (2010) and one attending an all girls school in Los Angeles following family tradition.
