Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Rancho Palos Verdes

I currently serve as a City Councilmember in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. I was first elected in 2009 and am running for re-election.

For fifteen years, my family and I have been proud to call Rancho Palos Verdes our home.

My commitment to public service goes back decades, including fourteen years as an officer in the United States Army and serving you on the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council since 2009. A proven and experienced leader, I have served you on the RPV city council as a leader on the RPV General Plan Update Committee, past president of both the RPV Council of Homeowners Association (CHOA) and RPV Monaco HOA. My wife and I are committed supporters and volunteers in a number of local organizations including the YMCA, scouts, and a variety of youth sports teams. We believe strongly in community involvement and have been involved with local schools, PTAs, area non-profits, our Church, and Disabled Veteran support groups.

As a business owner, my 30 years of wide-ranging professional and entrepreneurial experience include building organizations, balancing budgets, and structuring solutions for complex commercial real estate and public/private joint ventures. The challenges that neighborhoods, businesses and families face, I also experience as a fellow neighbor, businessman and father.

I have always prioritized keeping families and neighborhoods safe with my strong support for Neighborhood Watch, our Sheriff's Department and the LA County Fire Dept. I have a proven record of being your advocate and representative on the city council and will continue to ensure local government remains transparent, conservative in its fiscal planning and good stewards of taxpayers' resources.

Combining my lengthy business career, military experience, and history of local public service, I offer a unique skill set in representing you on the city council. I would be proud to be your city councilman for another four years and would be honored to once again receive your vote.
