Represent municipal entities in matters relating to civil rights and general tort claims. Handle matters in both state and federal courts. Conduct oral arguments, prepare briefs and motions and negotiate settlements. Serve as an arbitrator. Interview, hire and train attorneys and support staff. Negotiate contracts relating to office matters. Involved in day-to-day operations of running office. Develop and implement cost saving methods and procedures. Created new website. Served as a hearing officer for school district disenrollment hearings, during which I listened to the evidence from both parties then wrote findings of fact and conclusions of law along with a decision.

Represented Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and prosecuted criminal defendants at the preliminary hearing level at the district courts throughout the County, at Summary Appeals and at Juvenile Court. Wrote case summaries for the DA's Bulletin, a monthly publication dedicated to providing recent developments in criminal law and procedure to the District Attorneys and police throughout the County. In second year of the program, I helped train the new interns.
Congressional Fire Services Institute,Washington, DC, 1991-1992
Managed non-profit office created to support the Congressional Fire Services Caucus, the largest nonpartisan caucus on Capitol Hill dedicated to provide services and programs to engage members of Congress in fire and life safety issues. Interviewed, hired and trained over 30 temporary staff for short term projects. Wrote for and edited The Watchdog, a monthly publication distributed to members of the U.S. Congress and fire and emergency services personnel throughout the country.
