As a small business person, David Shapiro understands how important a thriving business community is to Calabasas.
A steady stream of business tax revenues supports the services we residents need and appreciate. As a small business owner, I recognize the importance of helping small businesses overcome tough economic times. As your Councilmember, I have and will continue to support policies that strengthen our local economy while maintaining the character of our fantastic city. By doing so, we can increase revenues, add jobs, and maintain funding levels for all the wonderful things that make Calabasas great, such as Concerts in the Park, the Pumpkin Festival, the Flu Clinic, extended library hours, and many more.
