I will defend the Affordable Health Care Act; I am not opposed to refining it to make it even better. I will engage in discussions with doctors, insurance companies, and citizens to determine how the Affordable Health Care Act can be improved.
The person that works forty hours per week, or the person that has lost a job, or the people that do not have the means to afford health care should be able to obtain health care. We pay for their care anyway; why not create the most efficient means to deliver health care to them. The Affordable Care Act is critical to providing health coverage to a large segment of the population that was not covered, ending practices by insurance companies that were detrimental to full health coverage for all citizens, and developing the mechanisms to bring the rise in health care costs to a level that does not exceed the National inflation rate. I will defend the Affordable Health Care Act; I am not opposed to refining it to make it even better. I will engage in discussions with doctors, insurance companies, and citizens to determine how the Affordable Health Care Act can be improved.
