Answer from Ron Mosby: I have over 19 years of public service experience at the federal, state, and local levels. I am also customer service oriented. I am not seeking to win; I am seeking to serve.
Answer from Ron Mosby: In a district where over 50% of the students are on free or reduced lunches in the 3 public school districts, permanent funding for schools is a top priority. I will propose solutions to the funding problem. We need more small businesses in our district. I will talk to businesses to generate ideas on how to attract more small businesses to our district.
Answer from Ron Mosby: I believe education is our biggest issue. We are preparing the next generation of doctors, politicians, pastors, teachers, and business owners. Our schools should be teaching our students how to think, instead of telling them what to think. My four children all graduated from public school, and I believe we can be a state to set the standard for a quality public education. If elected, my focus would be to change the way we approach education, beginning at the foundation with what it means to educate. I would use that as the foundation to build upon.
