Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 Word limit)

I was a prosecutor and environmental attorney with the City of Cincinnati. In private practice, I have litigated both civil and criminal cases. I have practiced in both state and federal court. I also have experience in all areas of law which the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office practices.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

I will be a full time prosecutor who will implement smart, new and creative methods to reduce the recidivism rate among offenders and create a proactive, prevention based plan to reduce the number of juveniles transitioning into the adult criminal system. I will work collaboratively with all county offices to provide consistent and efficient services to residents. Importantly, I will put my ethical responsibility as an attorney first to serve the citizens of Hamilton County and not allow political partisanship to affect the services rendered by the Prosecutor Office's to its clients, which are the county departments, boards, and citizens.

3. What specific changes would you like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County? (100 word limit)

I would like to see a system which operates with a purpose - to ensure justice is served, to keep the community safe and to promote prosecution with the purpose of preventing reoffending. I would like to see a diverse office that is reflective of the community it serves. Justice also spans to the civil side of the office, where I would like to see political motives not be in the forefront when representing county commissioners, boards, and citizens. I want an office that the community trusts and respects and looks to for the fair administration of justice.
