1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 Word limit)
I would like to continue serving as Hamilton County Commissioner because I believe that our taxpayers deserve a responsive and accountable government guided by common sense decision-making and fiscal responsibility. I have made the tough decisions necessary to keep our County budget balanced while investing in job creation efforts.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
1. Fiscal responsibility: Since 2009, I've voted to keep the County budget balanced by cutting $37 million from the General Fund. I will use this experience to continue keeping the County's fiscal house in order.2. Strengthening the environment for job creation: Since 2009, the County's economic development efforts have succeeded in attracting $330 million of new business investment to the County. I will continue our aggressive economic development work.
3. Public safety: I will continue to make public safety a priority for Hamilton County and support innovative strategies and new partnerships to enhance policing and crime prevention.
